The 2024 EICMA show in Milan saw many motorcycle manufacturers reveal new bikes, but the event wasn’t just about the rides. German gear manufacturer SW-Motech launched its new large-volume DUSC XL topcase at the event.
This case is the largest lockable product in the SW-Motech’s entire product lineup. It picks up from where the previous DUSC cases (introduced in early 2024) left off—it just adds more space.
Like the other DUSC cases, the DUSC XL features a robust and durable, yet lightweight (13.6 pounds) aluminum frame. The metal body is clad in 3mm thick ABS shell, which makes the case sturdy but slim.
Up to now, the largest DUSC product topped at 41 liters of volume. The XL topcase expands the volume to 55 liters, offering plentiful storage space on your motorcycle.
To illustrate its capacity, the DUSC XL case can swallow two XL-sized motorcycle helmets with their communicators and still fit small miscellaneous items around them.
Inside the case are EVA inlays that protect helmets and other sensitive luggage from scratches and bumps. An integrated membrane helps open the case effortlessly in case there’s a large pressure difference inside and outside.
The DUSC XL topcase mounts using SW-Motech’s Adventure Rack or Street Rack systems, making it suitable for both adventure bikes and urban motorcycles.
