SW-Motech Launches All-New DUSC Case System
German moto gear manufacturer SW-Motech is well-known for manufacturing highly functional motorcycle luggage solutions. The company has now added a new introduction to its product catalog—the DUSC hard-shell case system.
Versatility is the name of the game with the DUSC case. It can be installed as a top or side case on an ADV or sport-touring bike.
The case’s dual-layer construction makes it durable and impact-resistant. The inner aluminum frame is encased in 3mm-thick ABS plastic. Upon impact, the ABS deforms to direct the force into the metal frame before popping back into its original shape, no worse for wear.
Thanks to the material combination, SW-Motech could keep the case light. Even the larger version weighs less than nine pounds.
Mounting the case is straightforward with the integrated handles and two-point locking mechanism. The DUSC case works with the SW-Motech Pro side carrier.
There’s a separately available lock system that connects the case’s lid and the carrier hookups, allowing both to be locked simultaneously. When unlocked, the lid can be opened and closed without a key.
The DUSC case features protective corner material with integrated lashing points for attaching more bags to the case. For organizing the contents, SW-Motech offers optional internal hooks that slot into the case.
The SW-Motech DUSC case is available in 33 and 41-liter sizes, with prices from $450. It's now available on the SW-Motech USA website, and will be available at dealers soon.
