See What’s Coming from Klim in 2027

The annual EICMA show is the time for most motorcycle and riding gear manufacturers to show off their new stuff. Klim is gearing up to reveal several new and updated lines and products for 2027 in Italy.

The company’s biggest unveiling is the new Roughkut collection that aims to blend riding performance with an everyday casual look. The Ironwood jacket imitates the look of waxed canvas with waxed nylon and comes with Klim Rogue Level 2 armor panels and CE AA-rated abrasion resistance.

Under the jacket, you can don the Grindstone flannel-style riding shirt, which is also rated for CE AA and fits Rogue Level 1 armor. Klim also introduced the insulated Blackthorn jacket for cool days (although with no armor).

In addition, the K Fifty riding jeans, Unlimited riding pants, and the Women’s Betty riding pants have been rolled into the Roughkut collection. The K Fifty has been redesigned, and all pants feature Klim’s thin Rogue Phantom armor (rated CE Level 1).

Dakar and Mojave

The Dakar and Mojave product lines have received updates, too. The all-new Dakar GTX jackets and pants slot themselves between lighter dual sport and more robust adventure gear. Aimed at riders with mid-sized ADV and dual sport bikes, the GTX gear aims to reduce bulk while providing well-performing weather protection and ventilation. The jacket and pants feature street-rated abrasion protection and Rogue Level 1 pads.

Klim has redesigned the Dakar and Mojave product lines. The Dakar gear, intended for lighter dual sport riding, consists of a jacket, jersey, pants, in-the-boot pants, and gloves. They promise functional airflow, comfort, and durability in varying terrain.

The Mojave line is more robust for aggressive adventure riding in high temperatures (like what you’d do in its namesake desert). Its jersey, pants, in-the-boot pants, and gloves prioritize airflow and mobility with mesh panels and stretchy materials.

Other New Gear

Klim is also introducing miscellaneous new and updated gear pieces. The new X1 Gamma helmet is essentially an adventure version of the previous X1 Alpha lid. It promises a wide field of view, tool-free adjustment, and four configurations for ADV, street, dual sport, and off-road riding.

The Marrakesh jacket and pants enter their third generation with stretchy Karbonite Micromesh materials and the addition of Rogue level 2 armor. The Women’s Marrakesh jacket also receives the new protection pads.

Klim’s Ai-1 airbag vest, powered by crash detection technology from In&motion, has received a more breathable and slim chassis while also incorporating a more robust air bladder. Last but not least, Klim is putting out two new boots: the Outlander GTX tall boot and the Teklander GTX boot. Both boast a waterproof design and promise walkable comfort and stable riding support.
