All-New PackTalk Neo from Cardo Systems
Cardo Systems has released a new, and a little more affordable version of its PackTalk Edge system. The new Neo shares the Dynamic Mesh Communication connectivity, natural voice operation, and JBL sound with the Edge, but at a lower price point.
The waterproof Neo comes equipped with a firm and reliable clip cradle as opposed to the Edge’s magnetic mount. Mounted to that cradle is a high-tech package that’s $40 less expensive than the Packtalk Edge
Featuring a slim, antenna-free design in matte black, the Neo provides up to one mile of range to enable riders to enjoy the open road with the comfort and safety of rider-to-rider communication. Like the Edge model, the Neo has deep wideband sound quality and fast grouping processing in DMC mode. It pairs with Bluetooth and has Live Intercom Bluetooth support.
Enhanced with redesigned JBL speakers, the Neo offers three sound profiles and an improved noise-canceling microphone. The unit boasts the advanced Bluetooth 5.2 chip for universal connectivity. Voice operation allows activation of the system simply by saying, “Hey, Cardo,” removing the need to fumble with buttons.
Key highlights include:
- Slim design with no external antenna
- Second-generation Dynamic Mesh Communication with faster and easier pairing process and wide-band intercom
- Battery life of up to 13 hours, with fast charging via USB-C
- Over-the-air software updates eliminates the need for cables or Wi-Fi adapters
- Clip cradle
The new Packtalk Neo has an MSRP of $349.95 and will be available from retailers in early December. Pre-orders are now available on the Cardo Systems website.
