Suzuki Unveils First 2025 Model Year Motorcycles

We’re getting into that time of the year when motorcycle manufacturers are starting to showcase what they’ll have in store for the next model year. Suzuki is kicking things off by unveiling the first wave of its 2025 motorcycles.

The bikes remain mechanically unchanged. The biggest differences are in the color schemes, which are getting updated for the new year.

Here’s what we know so far about Suzuki’s 2025 lineup.


GSX-R1000/R

The top-end GSX-R1000 sportbike line stays the same in the mechanical department as it did in 2024. This trio of the GSX-R1000, GSX-R1000R, and the GSXR100RZ still feature a 999cc liquid-cooled engine, Suzuki Clutch Assist System (SCAS), inverted Showa fork (Big Piston for the R1000 and BFF for the R1000R), and Brembo front brakes. The R1000R/Z models add a bidirectional quickshifter, an LCD panel, and Suzuki Launch Control.

The new colorways for 2025 include Candy Daring Red/Glass Sparkle Black and Metallic Matte Sword Silver for the GSX-R1000 and GSX-R1000R. The former retails for $16,499 and the latter for $18,649.

Meanwhile, the GSX-R100RZ is available in Pearl Brilliant White/Metallic Matte Triton Blue for an MSRP of $18,649.


GSX-R750

Like its big brother, the GSX-R750/Z models remain mechanically identical to their 2024 counterparts. They’re powered by a 750cc engine that at home at a racetrack, while stopping power stems from Brembo four-piston front and Nissin one-piston rear brake. Like on the GSX-R1000, a Showa Big Piston fork soaks up bumps.

The 2025 GSX-R750 comes in Pearl Brilliant White/Metallic Matte Stellar Blue or Metallic Matte Black No. 2/Glass Sparkle Black, while the GSX-R750Z sports a Pearl Brilliant White/Metallic Triton Blue. Both bikes retail for $13,149.


GSX-R600

Last but not least in the sportbike family is the GSX-R600/Z, offering track-capable performance while remaining well-mannered on the street. As with the other GSX bikes, nothing changes under the proverbial hood. The engine still produces 599cc, the brakes and suspension components are the same as on the GSX-R750, and the appearance is the same, except for the colors.

And those colors for 2025 include Pearl Brilliant White/Metallic Matte Stellar Blue and Solid Iron Gray/Glass Sparkle Black for the GSX-R600, while the GSX-R600Z comes in the same “Z” color scheme as its larger-displacement siblings. Both R600 machines retail for $11,999.


DR650S

In the dual sport realm, we find the 2025 DR650S. Here, even less has changed than with the GSX motorcycles.

All the components remain identical to the 2024 iteration, starting with the torque-y 644cc four-stroke. The front and rear suspension provide 10.2 inches of travel for a smooth ride even on bumpy roads. The 13-gallon fuel tank provides a good bit of distance between fuel brakes.

Even the colorways are the same as last year, with the DR650S retailing for $7,199 in Solid Special White No. 2 and Solid Black/Iron Gray.

Boulevard M109R

As with the DR 650S, the 2025 Boulevard M190R keeps everything as it was in 2024. It remains a powerful performance cruiser, propelled forward by its 1783cc V-twin engine that spins the widest rear tire Suzuki has ever manufactured.

The design still treads the Via Media between a classic cruiser and a modern sleek speedster. The analog speedometer (with a small LCD screen) harkens back to the past, while the smooth, flowing curves of the bodywork are more futuristic.

In 2025, the Boulevard M190R comes in the same classy Glass Sparkle Black paint scheme as the year before. The retail price stands at $15,799.


Boulevard C50T Special

The 2025 Boulevard C50T Special might seem like a new introduction at a quick glance. However, it picks up directly from where the 2023 Boulevard C50T left off.

This classically-styled machine features a 805cc liquid-cooled V-twin. The telescopic front fork provides 5.5 inches of travel With its feet-forward floorboards and high-mounted handlebar, alongside the tall windscreen and studded leather seat (27.6-inch seat height), this motorcycle is right at home on Route 66.

The Boulevard C50T Special comes in Pearl Brilliant White at an MSRP of $10,359.


Boulevard C50

Finally, we have the Boulevard C50, which sticks to its established guns as a modern cruiser with classic inspiration. It’s identical to the C50T Special in the engine, suspension, and brake departments—it just lacks the windscreen and some of the more classic style choices.

In 2025, the Boulevard C50 comes in Solid Iron Gray at an MSRP of 9,299.
