Review: 2024 Husqvarna Svartpilen 801
Only a few motorcycles do a good job with balancing a classic style with a modern look. The new Svartpilen 801 is one of them. Walking up to the parked motorcycle, the classic lines immediately made it feel familiar, even though it’s clearly an ultra-modern design. From afar, I wasn’t sure what type of material was used for several parts, but once I got up close and personal and ran my hands over them, I realized just about everything was black powder-coated aluminum. There’s not a lot of plastic on this motorcycle. A simple dash layout and handlebar controls hide the technology well, and it’s not intimidating after swinging a leg over for the first time. With the push of a button, the 799cc engine came to life.
