The Honda Rebel 1100 is about to get the “T” treatment for 2023. The upcoming Rebel 1100T translates to bagger styling and function with standard hard saddlebags.
The bags offer a combined 35 liters of storage space for long distance journeys. That’s plenty of luggage space for any grand tour.
The Rebel 1100 combines cruiser type looks in a versatile package that serves daily commuters, around-town riders, canyon carvers, and distance tourers alike. Powered by a high-performance, liquid-cooled parallel twin engine, the Rebel 1100 is available with either a traditional manual transmission or Honda’s Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) automatic, making it more accessible to a wider range of riders.
Designed for comfort, the Rebels have relaxed ergonomics to accommodate long stints in the saddle. For personalizing your Japanese stallion, Honda offers extensive aftermarket accessories to augment the dynamic color range that includes Bordeaux Red Metallic, Iridium Gray Metallic, Green Metallic, and Metallic Black.
The 2023 Rebel 1100T DCT will retail for $11,299, the Rebel 1100 DCT sells for $10,099,, and the Rebel 1100 has a price tag of $9,499. The bikes will be available from December 2022.
The 300 and 500 models return in 2023 as well to bolster the Rebel lineup. These entry-level cruisers offer manageable power with minimalist but stylish curb appeal in several trim levels and colors.
The user-friendly machines sport the distinctive peanut-designed fuel tank, LED lighting, and blacked-out engine components. Serving their cruiser moniker, the little Rebels offer a relaxed riding position.
Both models are available in standard and ABS versions. MSRP for the Rebel 500 ranges from $6,449 to $6,949 and for the Rebel 300 from $4,749 to $5,049.
More Than Just Rebels
Complementing Honda’s cruiser models for 2023, the Shadow Phantom and Shadow Aero (both 750cc) are back. The Ultra Blue Metallic Aero exudes old -school styling with a large front fender, a low-slung seat, plenty of chrome, dynamic spoke wheels, and a beefy V-twin with twin exhaust pipes that sweep back to augment strong lines. The bike’s retro style meets modern technology with fuel injection and ABS. The Aero has an MSRP of $7,799.
The bobber-inspired Shadow Phantom melds into the darkness with its subdued, nocturnal styling. The bike sports a blacked-out V-twin engine, chopped fenders, and black rims with spokes.
Clean lines with a low center of gravity speak to the timeless bobber look. The Phantom features plenty of modern creature comforts and technical advancements without relinquishing its old-school styling. The 2023 Shadow Phantom is available in Matte Black Metallic or Adventure Green for $7,999.
In the sportbike category, the CBR1000RR and CBR600RR return to the Honda stable for 2023. The lightweight, powerful, and technologically-advanced sport machines have evolved from Honda’s road racing heritage.
The 2023 Honda CBR1000RR has an MSRP of $16,599/$16,899 ABS, and the 2023 Honda CBR600RR retails for $12,099/$13,099 ABS. Catering to the entry-level rider with a sporting heart is the naked 2023 Honda CB300R, with ABS standard (MSRP $5,049).
In the touring segment, there’s the versatile 2023 Honda NC750X, with an SOHC eight-valve parallel-twin. The NC750X will be available in either manual or DCT automatic transmission for $9,399.
Rounding out the Honda line-up for 2023 is a pair of miniMOTO machines, namely the Super Cub and the Monkey—both with available ABS—as well as the adventure-inspired ADV 150 scooter. Super Cub retails for $3,849, Monkey for $4,249, and the ADV 150 for $4,349.
