So Much To Be Thankful For
Dear Reader,
Without sounding like a broken record, this year has really flown by. Motorcycles have come and gone, several sets of tires have been gloriously burned, and I added a Ténéré 700 to the garage again.
I let go of my first one too soon, and then all my friends went out and got one while I had none. That’s a worst-case scenario in my eyes.
I’m happy that I’m back on the pegs with this stellar Yamaha. My daily commuter is still the Honda Trail 125, crate on the back and all. No matter how long the office days are, starting up the little red bike always puts a smile on my face.
The Triumph Scrambler 1200 EXC is still around, too, and it got good use during a Maggie Valley Shamrock Tour®. Then there’s the CRF125 that only gets cranked when the leaves are off the trees.
We have a very short path through the woods behind our house, and the CRF125 is the perfect trail maintenance machine. After a few laps, my two boys can ride their own little dirt bikes there safely.
