A New Fear

“Where will our first trip be?” I asked with a great deal of enthusiasm after the successful completion of motorcycle school. “To the parking lot,” my husband replied.
We made plans that weekend to get my new Royal Enfield Himalayan. I wasn't sure what color I wanted yet, so he found the nearest dealer with all available colors.
My husband’s excitement was contagious and it helped hold down my own insecurity. I knew he would help me. I knew he would take things slow, so I knew I could do it.
Well, I was pretty sure.
Bikes are big, much bigger than the average person realizes. Motorcycle dealerships place them strangely close together. It feels a little bit like begging for a big domino effect.
