Husqvarna Reveals 2022 Street Bike Range
Husqvarna has announced their 2022 lineup for riders looking to take to the streets. This year, the bike range consists of the Svartpilen 401, Vitpilen 401, and the 701 Supermoto.
The Svartpilen and Vitpilen have received new graphics to further enhance their rugged appearance. According to the manufacturer, the new graphics reflect the bikes’ modern thinking and classic design, both influenced by their Swedish heritage.
Mechanically, the bikes remain unchanged from last year. They still have the same mix of features that make them great machines in both the city and on out-of-town roads.
Both ‘Pilens are powered by a 373cc single-cylinder engine, and have a sturdy but lightweight steel trellis frame. An WP APEX suspension system provides instant rider feedback.
The bikes have ByBre brakes gripping onto 320mm front and 230mm rear steel discs. Together with a Bosch ABS, they bring the Swedish arrows to a quick, controlled stop.
As additional goodies, the Svartpilen and Vitpilen have Husqvarna’s clutchless Easy Shift function and ride-by-wire throttle. To illuminate the way, the bikes feature LED headlights.
The 701 Supermoto, also unchanged from 2021, is made to start on city streets and proceed to rip through country and mountain roads. It features a single-cylinder 692cc engine, a light steel trellis frame with an integrated 3.4-gallon fuel tank, WP APEX suspension, two default riding modes, and Brembo brakes.
All bikes are available from authorized Husqvarna dealerships.
