Cold Start Returns for a Second Year
The Cold Start Off-Road Riding Clinic & Culinary Experience is returning for a second edition on May 5-9. If the event’s name seems like a mouthful, just wait to see the smorgasbord of riding experiences it has in store for riders of all skill levels.
This time, the Cold Start Clinic is built around an ADV 101 theme. The five-day experience teaches participants everything they need to know about ADV riding, from packing and planning to camping, staying safe on the trail, and much more.
But Cold Start isn’t just for beginners. The various solo and group rides begin in Ensenada in Mexico’s Baja California and head south along the coast. Just as an example, you can participate in sunset rips on the beach in San Quintin.
For riders looking for a more hands-on off-road learning experience, Cold Start offers an optional skill clinic arranged in collaboration with Skool of Moto and West38Moto. The lessons and workshops teach you the ins and outs of piloting an 890 with ease on your way to adventure.
Of course, we can’t forget about the food. Whenever not on the bikes, participants get to explore fantastic local fare and culture. If you’d like to stick around for a bit longer, there’s an optional day on May 10, featuring fishing, horse rides, and even more delicious food.
As a nice little bonus, registered attendees get a 40% discount coupon for REV’IT! It’s a perfect opportunity to update your gear for the five days of ADV riding bliss at Ensenada.
Cold Start offers logistics assistance, bike rentals, and airport transfers. For more information, registration prices, and prerequisites, visit www.TheColdStart.org.
