Biketoberfest 2026: Make Your Plans Now
Biketoberfest is the second famous motorcycle event taking place in Florida’s Daytona Beach. As always, this year’s 34th annual event promises four days of motorcycle fun, rider camaraderie, and great times on the road.
The festivities take place October 15-18 in and around Daytona Beach. Riders of every type of motorcycle, from cruisers to ADV bikes, are invited to join the activities.
Biketoberfest 2026 packs a full schedule of events and rallies, including:
- Group rides
- Motorcycle demos
- Vintage and custom bike shows
- Live music
- Hundreds of vendors
- Special restaurant offers
Carrying on the Daytona tradition, motorcycle racing forms a crucial part of Biketoberfest. The Daytona International Speedway hosts three action-filled days packed full of races in a multitude of classes.
And if you happen to need a small break to clear your head of the exhaust fumes, the 23 miles of Atlantic coastline awaits with sand, sun, bars, restaurants, shops, and more. It’s Daytona Beach, after all!
Best Roads Around Daytona Beach
But what would a long weekend at Daytona Beach be without excellent riding? Group and organized rides (many of which benefit a charitable cause) will hit the area’s best rides, but you can also venture out on a solo jaunt.
The crown jewel of these parts is the Ormond Scenic Loop. This 25-mile loop route to the north of Daytona Beach showcases the unique wetland nature around Tomoka Marsh Aquatic Preserve. It also takes you on a trip to Florida’s past, with Native American, colonial, and 19th-century history on display. Learn more in our Ormond Scenic Loop article.

Another famous road in the area is US 1. This seaside route stretches from Florida’s northern border with Georgia all the way south to Key West. Along the way, you’ll see everything from pristine marshes to modern cities. Read more in our US 1 highlight.
To get even closer to the ocean, hop on SR A1A. It skirts the sandy beaches along the barrier islands that sit by Florida’s coastline. There’s no better way to feel the ocean wind and smell the salt in the air.
If you’re attending Biketoberfest, you will surely find yourself rolling down Daytona Beach’s famous Main Street. During the event, a veritable motorcycle parade will pass through the city with cheering crowds lining the road. When not on the saddle, you can enjoy great dining, shopping, and nightlife along Main Street.
ADV Riding Gateway: Ocala National Forest
Riders who come to Biketoberfest on a dual sport or ADV motorcycle can get their rides appropriately dusty in the Ocala National Forest. Located to the east of Daytona Beach, this natural area provides a beautiful but surprisingly challenging riding environment.
Despite not being rugged and mountainous like many other popular ADV spots, Ocala National Forest is twisty and gorgeous. You’ll ride through varying environments, such as sandy pine scrub, longleaf pine woods, and scattered low-lying wetlands. With multiple trail systems accommodating motorcycles, you can choose your scenery.
What you can’t choose is whether you ride on sand—you will! Ocala National Forest’s sandy soil makes for a different and thrilling off-road challenge.
Riding here is not about managing extreme elevation changes, root-broken trails, or craggy cliffs. Instead, your opponent is the momentum-stealing, sinking sugar sand that covers the area’s squirming trails.
Tackling the Ocala National Forest’s trails requires you to master your throttle and keep up your speed through the ride. It’s a unique challenge in an astounding environment. In other words, the best kind of off-road ride.
