2024 KTM Adventure Rider Rally Heads to South Dakota

Each year, the KTM Adventure Rider Rally brings together KTM enthusiasts and ADV riders for a few fun-filled days of bouncing along the trails. This year’s event takes motorcyclists to the Black Hills of South Dakota.

The 2024 KTM Adventure Rider Rally will take place in Deadwood, SD, on October 10-13, with accommodations provided at The Lodge. The Wild West town of Deadwood makes for an excellent base from which to explore the surrounding rugged environs.

Participating riders get to enjoy the many double-track trails of the area, interspersed with some rockier sections. The pre-organized routes will take rallygoers not only to the Black Hills, but also to Spearfish Canyon and Devils Tower in Wyoming.

According to KTM, riders of all skill levels will be able to complete the rally’s designated routes, with gas and lunch breaks at regular intervals. In order to promote safety and rider camaraderie, participants will be divided into groups of two to four riders. You can select your group if you register in advance—otherwise, you’ll be grouped with riders of a similar skill level at the event.

On October 10, the rally will open with the KTM Street Demo Tour. Attendees can climb behind the bars of more than a dozen KTM adventure and dual-sport machines, from the 500 EXC-F to Adventure and Duke models.

The main riding days are October 11-12. The final day on October 13 will consist of shorter rides and games.

On October 12, KTM will host an Awards Dinner for the attendees. The registration also includes a pre-event dinner on October 10, breakfast on each event day, and a goodie bag with a T-shirt and hat.

Although the rally is KTM-branded, street-legal motorcycles of all brands are welcome at the event. However, all riders must have a functioning personal locator beacon (such as Spot or InReach unit) to get on the designated routes.

You can register for the 2024 KTM Adventure Rider Rally at the official event website. Space is limited, though, so don’t dawdle!
